Crafting Your Life with Purpose: The Simple Shift to Achieve True Fulfillment

Why Starting with 'Being' Instead of 'Having' Will Transform Your Life

Hi there! This is Dhanya, and today I want to dive into a powerful concept that has not only touched me but has shaped the way I craft my life. It’s a principle I’ve learned from various spiritual masters and mentors, and it’s something I’m deeply committed to practicing. So, let’s talk about how to really craft the life you desire.

The Secret Formula: Be → Do → Have

We all have ambitions, dreams, and desires, but have you ever wondered why some people seem to achieve their goals effortlessly while others struggle? The key lies in how we approach life itself.

The concept I want to share is simple but revolutionary: fix your way of being. Yes, it starts with who you are, not what you want. Here’s how it works:

  1. Be – Start by identifying your true self, your core values, and your deepest sense of being. When you align with your authentic self, everything else begins to flow naturally.

  2. Do – When you operate from this place of alignment, the actions you take carry that energy. You don’t just do for the sake of doing; your actions reflect who you are at your core.

  3. Have – The results you achieve, whether it’s financial success, meaningful relationships, or personal growth, are a natural consequence of the aligned actions you take.

When you live in alignment with your true self, your actions become purposeful, and the outcomes you get are not just external rewards—they carry the essence of who you are. This approach ensures that what you have in life truly resonates with your values.

The Reverse Trap: Have → Do → Be

Unfortunately, most of us are conditioned by society to follow the opposite path. We’re told that we must first have—the house, the money, the success—and only then can we do certain things and be happy or fulfilled. This backward approach can lead to a life of dissatisfaction because we fixate on external goals, losing touch with our inner compass.

Starting from a place of wanting to have leads to outcomes that may not align with our true selves. It’s like chasing a mirage—you achieve the things you thought you wanted but still feel unfulfilled. The result? Long-term misery and burnout.

Finding Hope in a New Path

I’m incredibly fortunate to be part of a community that embraces the "Be → Do → Have" philosophy. As a member of the Internet Lifestyle Hub, guided by my mentor, Siddharth Rajshekhar, I’ve found not only a supportive environment but also a new vision for leadership and teaching.

Siddharth is more than just a mentor to me; he’s a spiritual guide who is empowering a new wave of teachers and leaders. His vision is one I resonate with deeply—together, we are working toward creating a shift in societal consciousness. The way forward is to operate from a place of authenticity, integrity, and alignment.

How You Can Start Today

I hope this message inspires you to think differently about how you approach your life and goals. If you feel drawn to this idea of crafting life from a place of being, I invite you to take a few steps:

  1. Reflect on who you are – What are your core values? What kind of person do you aspire to be?

  2. Align your actions with your being – Ensure that what you do is a reflection of who you are, not just a means to an end.

  3. Shift your focus from having to being – Let go of the fixation on material outcomes and focus on aligning your inner self with your actions.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Please subscribe to my newsletter, and feel free to share your suggestions on topics you'd like me to explore further. I’m also launching webinars and a new course soon, and I’d love for you to join in!

Funny Sign-off:

Until next time, remember: the only "having" that matters is having a great sense of humor when life gets weird! 😄

If you think this message isn’t for you... maybe it’s your inner being telling you it totally is. 😉
